Assistant Director City Development
Up to £76k

Norwich is a city rich in heritage and culture but also brimming with potential for growth and development. You’ll play the lead role in ensuring that both of these aspects of our city continue to develop and flourish.

Working in partnership with both private and public sector bodies in our region you’ll both define and manage the future growth and development of Norwich. With ambitious plans for growth (36,000 new homes and 30,000 jobs in the next 20 years), it will require a strategic mind with the capacity to deliver practical means to long-term goals.

You’ll already have direct experience of delivering major development programmes in an urban context. You should be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to develop collaborative, symbiotic relationships with key regional players. An excellent manager of people and resources you are also an adept project manager and an able advocate for Norwich.
